Will Brad become Chelsea ???

I don't know whether this is a joke or not, but if true it will certainly cloud forever what many people think about Bradley Manning:

If this is a cruel hoax of some kind, it reminds me of the following:

(1) In 1989 there was a turret explosion on the USS Iowa, and instead of finding some physical cause for the mishap the Navy blamed it on an alleged homosexual affair:

(2) During the lead up to the Iraq War, UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter was outspoken in his belief that Saddam Hussein had no weapons of mass destruction. His credibility was then destroyed when he was caught in a sex sting:

(3) Following the release of classified documents through his WikiLeaks organization, Julian Assange was smeared and hamstrung with allegations of rape in Sweden:

Maybe these men actually did what they are accused of; I have no idea one way or the other. It does, however, seem strange that those who become thorns in the side of America frequently are dealt with in the same way ... using allegations of sleaze.
