Immigration "reform" by language manipulation

The Associated Press, the largest news-gathering outlet in the world, will no longer use the term "illegal immigrant." Read the whole story @

Anyone remember George Orwell's "Newspeak" in his novel Nineteen Eighty-Four? What the AP is doing is part of what Newspeak was intended to do: to control thought.

Clearly, the AP and other "news" organizations have shifted from gathering and reporting news to becoming propaganda organizations (a Ministry of Truth?) for the ruling class.

But who cares? As long as we have our porn, our video games, and our junk food it doesn't really matter.

By the way, how was Orwell able to so accurately predict what our world would be like, and why do we basically ignore his warnings?

He gazed up at the enormous face. Forty years it had taken him to learn what kind of smile was hidden beneath the dark moustache. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother.

We've got eleven years to go (to finish our 40 year struggle). That will be sometime during Hillary's presidency (a.k.a. the end of the world). At that point you will worship her or die.
