Remembering Martin Luther King, Jr.

On this anniversary of the birth of Martin Luther King, Jr., it behooves us to recall his unfinished legacy - the Poor People's Campaign:

King's untimely death doomed the campaign to failure, and I am one of many who believes he was assassinated by the US government to ensure that failure.

Throughout our blood-soaked past, the powers that be have killed just about anyone who got in their way. Today's assassinations may be bloodless (e.g., the ongoing soft coup against Trump), but don't think for a minute the rich would hesitate to kill again if it became necessary.
