Jeff Bezos runs a project whose goal is to recover the F-1 rocket engines which helped send Apollo 11 to the moon. You can read about it here:

In my opinion, we need another "F-1 engine recovery" team, one which will resurrect that engineering marvel so that identical engines can be used to send us back to the moon and beyond. We NEVER should have let the Apollo legacy products and the people who built them just disappear into oblivion.
