Proof That We The People Mean Nothing

"A taxpayer may not 'employ a federal court as a forum in which to air his generalized grievances about the conduct of government.'"
SCOTUS Chief Justice Warren Burger

The First Amendment contains the following words:

"Congress shall make no law ... abridging ... the right of the people ... to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

But as far as SCOTUS is concerned, you should just cast your meaningless vote every two years and keep your mouth shut.
