I don't know whether to laugh, cry, or get angry at such essays. What I do know is that those who like the idea of robots and AI really do consider the rest of us to be "ancient relics". Shouldn't we all be worried about that?
One thing not addressed in such essays is the question of how people will survive when they no longer have jobs or any other currently understood source of income and sustenance. Until I see a believable answer to that question, I will consider robots and AI to be humanity's mortal enemies.
