When Will Jews Start The Sacrifices ???

As you may know, the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. That ended the sacrifices which the Jews had been conducting on the Temple Mount.

Even before the US moved its embassy to Jerusalem, some were speculating the Jews plan to rebuild the Temple and restart the sacrifices. Such speculation has been supported by preparations being made by the Temple Mount Faithful and others, including the breeding of red heifers which will be sacrificed in the rebuilt Temple:

[By the way, this is not the first time someone has made claims about red heifers. See https://sainthoward.blogspot.com/2016/02/third-temple-being-rebuilt.html for an earlier discussion of that issue. Apparently the excitement about the latest batch of red heifers is that they are being bred in Israel and not a foreign location.]

A few days ago, I was reminded by the good people of Tomorrow's World that in the past such sacrifices were started up before the construction of a Jewish Temple. Here is the relevant scripture:

And when the seventh month was come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.
Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.
And they set the altar upon his bases; for fear was upon them because of the people of those countries: and they offered burnt offerings thereon unto the Lord, even burnt offerings morning and evening.
They kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required;
And afterward offered the continual burnt offering, both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of the Lord that were consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a freewill offering unto the Lord.
From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the Lord. But the foundation of the temple of the Lord was not yet laid.
Ezra 3:1-6 KJV

The claim made in the first linked article above that "the Third Temple’s construction ... heralds the arrival of the Jewish Messiah" is not really correct. Messiah comes first, and then he builds the Temple. Has the Messiah arrived? If he has, where is he? Who is he?

I think it's possible the Jews may restart the sacrifices PRIOR to the arrival of their Messiah and the rebuilding of the Temple, for the very purpose of demonstrating to G-d they are keeping His covenant and to facilitate commencement of their version of the End Times. But where might they set the new altar, if the foundation of the Third Temple is not yet laid?

I came across this report from last December which may contain the answer: the Israelis have constructed an underground synagogue inside the Western Wall of the Temple Mount. You can read about it here:

https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20171219-israel-unveils-new-synagogue-in-jerusalems-al-aqsa/

Such a place would allow the erection of an altar and commencement of the sacrifices, without outside interference and long before the rebuilding of the Temple. And it also would be consistent with the following scripture:

And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
Revelation 11:1-2 KJV

The Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, and thanks to the secretiveness of the Israelis we will not know it's coming until it is upon us.

Pray hard, and do NOT take the mark.
