Can You Spot The Fallacy ???

According to this report, several states have no women in Congress:

Part of the American mythos is that we're all the same - men/women/black/white, these things don't really exist. So why should the gender of our Senators and Representatives matter?

And on a more practical note, can you provide examples of how women have been responsible for LESS violence and chicanery in our institutions? Several counterexamples come to mind, such as Hillary Clinton, Madeleine Albright, Janet Reno, and Sheryl Sandberg. If they're not going to change anything for the better, why should I care whether women get elected to Congress?
