In his first public speech since becoming America's spy master, the former Republican congressman escalated the agency's hostility to WikiLeaks and its founder, Julian Assange, accusing them of making common cause with dictators. While "Assange and his ilk" claim they act in the name of liberty and privacy, Pompeo said that in reality, their mission is "personal self-aggrandizement through the destruction of Western values."

I would agree that Wikileaks is a "hostile intelligence service" - they are hostile to governments which rule in secret, and they provide intelligence to We The People. What's wrong with that in a country which allegedly is a democracy?
As to whether they are destroying Western values, let's take a look at which values they are attempting to destroy:

Dear Mr. Pompeo - The national security state has several "intelligence services", and so do US corporations. They all are hostile to the information requirements of We The People, so why can't you understand why OUR intelligence service (Wikileaks) appears to be hostile to them?
Besides, Julian leaks truths, while your CIA leaks lies. And as far as I know, Julian never smuggled crack cocaine into the country or assassinated any democratically elected leaders.
