Here is a report concerning the arrest of a "real" reporter who was trying to get a government official to answer a question:

The report gives no other reason for his arrest, so we have to assume it was just because he tried to ask a question the government did not want to answer.
America is plunging into the depths of totalitarianism rather quickly. At least we're not killing journalists yet (like they do in Russia and Iraq), but perhaps that too is not far off.
Face it ... the US is becoming a failed state. I will write more on that subject (failed state) later.
