I just finished reading The President and the Provocateur by Alex Cox:

It presents a different take on the JFK assassination which parallels the lives of JFK and Oswald. Seeing their lives in this perspective gives new insights into what may have happened (for anyone like me who still cares).
I remain convinced that Oswald was the patsy.
By the way, if you never heard of Alex Cox, he was the director of the cult film Repo Man, which has got to be one of the neatest films of all time:
