I'm sure you have heard by now of the Meryl Streep vs Walt Disney controversy. Here's some of the reported details, including something from Walt's grandniece:

If there was ever anything good about America, Walt Disney embodied it. Those that criticize him, for whatever reason, appear to me to be criticizing America itself. There's a lot of that going on these days, including on this blog.
I suggest you evaluate what the America criticizers want to substitute for the things they dislike so much. You shall know them by their fruits and not by their dislike of Walt or anyone else.
