I read it word for word a long time ago, when I was in college. It's pretty boring, and the historical analogies he makes may not be relevant for most of today's readers.
I think Hitler has risen from the grave because people are fascinated by Biblical prophecy and End Times concerns. Most people see Hitler as the closest thing to an Antichrist they have ever known, and they want to know how such a person emerges and how to recognize him. After all, before we get the Second Coming, we get the Antichrist.
