Northern Colorado counties want to secede and form a new state:

I more or less agree with them: city dwellers have no attachment to the land and NO idea where their food, energy, and water come from. If they did, they wouldn't be acting like the idiots they are.
This may never work, but either way it brings up a fundamental principle: people want to determine the course of their own lives, and the USA usually doesn't let them.
