We have squandered trillions of dollars and ended or shattered the lives of thousands if not millions of people, and this is the result: the people of Afghanistan want to bring back stoning as the punishment for adultery:

Amazing, but quite easy to believe. Neither Islam nor traditional cultural beliefs will ever be eradicated with bombs and bullets. Rome could not defeat Christianity. Why have we learned nothing from that fact?
