There are currently nine nations that are known to have nuclear weapons:

• United States
• United Kingdom
• France
• Russia
• China
• India
• Pakistan
• North Korea
• Israel

If Iran were to get nukes, they would be the tenth nation (or kingdom) to do so.

Perhaps the powers that be are not ready to start the End Time clock and think they can delay it by preventing a tenth king from getting nuclear weapons.
