Is Comet ISON the star called Wormwood ???

People are saying that Comet ISON may be the "comet of the century":

Until the sixteenth century, comets were usually considered bad omens of deaths of kings or noble men, or coming catastrophes, or even interpreted as attacks by heavenly beings against terrestrial inhabitants.

The Book of Revelation seems filled with prophecies which may be related to comets. This particular comet is thought to be composed of the original material from which the solar system was made:

As it cooks off in our region of the solar system, let's pray this comet is not carrying anything which is poisonous to life on Earth. If it is, we may be due for the fulfillment of one or more Biblical prophecies:

And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
Revelation 8:10-11 KJV
