Note well: The author references mythology but makes no mention of G-d.
Mathematics may help explain how things behave, but can it explain why they exist? In fact, I don't believe we even really understand how things behave. Please read this for an explanation of what I mean:
Science has completely discarded the G-d hypothesis. I'm not so sure that's a good idea.
