Green Doesn't Mean Free

This report discusses how new "green" rules and mandated "upgrades" will affect both landlords and tenants:

https://deutsche-wirtschafts-nachrichten.de/516401/EU-Kommission-plant-massive-Eingriffe-in-den-Immobilienbesitz-der-Buerger [translation required]

Yes the report is about Germany, but we can expect something similar in the US. Right now things are obscured by the COVID nonsense, but you can expect the new rules to be issued soon.

Update - 1/8/2022

And right on cue, New York proposes their first installment of "green" building mandates:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/ny-governor-proposes-first-ever-statewide-ban-on-gas-hookups-in-new-buildings-210023080.html

I'm missing something - New York has been against coal and nuclear. If they outlaw natural gas, what's left? They cannot build enough solar farms and windmills to make up the difference, can they?

In my view, this is economic suicide by people who don't have a clue.
