Why is single-family housing now "unsustainable"?

The reconciliation package plans to implement the destruction of the suburbs via a measure within the package called the “HOMES Act,” which attempts (to) put the federal government in charge of local zoning laws to change local demographics, impacting the already purple voting districts.
Yes, the "American dream" of homeownership soon will disappear. And this is just the beginning. With no input from We the People, our entire way of life is in the process of being erased.
Note the above report appears to frame this in terms of voter manipulation, but the agenda goes far beyond mere politics. TPTB seek a CCP-like stranglehold on everything which happens in the former USA. And it looks like nothing can stand in their way.
