Our president's latest dumb move is to ask food stamp recipients to work:

Why should the poor go hungry, be homeless and without medical care while the military squanders our national treasure? This makes no sense at all.
And why are we letting "refugees", many of whom are extortionists (asking us to give them $50K to go home), enter the country to take away the low wage jobs Trump wants the poor to perform for their food stamps? That is absolutely idiotic.
Pat Buchanan is right when he asserts "we are an unserious nation engaged in trivial pursuits in a deadly serious world":

Our political class is wasting our time, our money, and our future fighting for power while ignoring every possible opportunity to address the nation's real problems. Congress has done NOTHING to help We the People in our time of need. The French are rioting in response to problems FAR less serious than what we face, yet we passively accept whatever calamities the powers that be throw at us.
This will not end well.
