First Mattis and now Kelly - Trump's outgoing advisers stab him in the back. You can read about the latest perfidy here:

In my view, they should keep their mouths shut. People who betray their boss's trust (especially at this high level) are vile swine. If Kelly didn't like his job, maybe he should not have taken it in the first place. And if Mattis couldn't get along with Bolton, maybe he should have stayed to fight him instead of leaving with this tail between his legs.
Perhaps there is one good thing which might come from this - people will realize that "our" generals and admirals do not deserve the admiration we have so foolishly bestowed upon them for so long. Their chief accomplishment since WW2 has been to squander our blood and national treasure. Yes, a lot of brave men and women died or were maimed in the process, but for what? Is the world a safer or happier place because of it?
Apparently the President agrees with me:

And by the way, Mattis's statement "let nothing which is transpiring, change, hinder, or delay your military movements, or plans" borders on mutiny. Good riddance to him, and Trump would be well advised to fire ALL such mutineers.
