The History Of Barter

This morning I listened to some clowns on NPR explain how there is no evidence the practice of "bartering" ever existed.

However, sites like this one would disagree:

I keep hearing about "fake news" and "good censors". Is it even possible to discern the truth anymore, unless you see it with your own eyes?
