Liberal False Statement Of The Day - 10/28/2018

Here it is:

"[Roger] Ailes was a student of Hitler propagandist Leni Riefenstahl."

Ms. Dowd's statement implies that Ailes studied under Ms. Riefenstahl (i.e., was her student). Such a thing never happened.

And as far as Democrat fear mongers go:

• Harry Truman used fear to sell the National Security State and the Cold War;
• John Kennedy used a non-existent "missile gap" to win the White House;
• LBJ used the fear of nuclear war to defeat Barry Goldwater; and
• He also used the "domino theory" to sell the Vietnam War.

I'm sure there are other examples.

But Ms. Dowd writes OPINION PIECES, which do not have to be factual. Keep that in mind when reading her stuff.
