According to this report, Hillary Clinton's security clearance was withdrawn at her request:

Since she no longer holds any office, why did she continue to have a clearance in the first place?
Her clearance should have been suspended when allegations of her espionage activities first surfaced. And it should have been revoked when the FBI non-investigation revealed how reckless her use of classified documents had been. Why did no one have the balls to do this?
In my view, she should have been arrested, indicted, tried, and convicted for espionage. And she should be doing hard time. The fact that none of that happened is a slap in the face of our national security.
