I'd like to know why "Beto" O'Rourke has not faced similar criticism. There is nothing in his background to suggest a Hispanic heritage befitting of the "Beto" nickname:

In fact, the only thing I see in his background is oodles of "white privilege", but I don't see anyone criticizing him for that, either.
If such labels are not applied equally to all potential "violators", then as far as I am concerned they are BS.

I think the question "when is it ok?" shows how silly this all is. Do we have "freedom" in this country, or not? Why can't anyone wear anything they want?
