The salaries of the purveyors of neoliberal junk economics are paid by the rich, so of course they will promote their bosses' agenda.

And stop giving these clowns Nobel Prizes, since their theories are detrimental to the vast majority of humanity. Instead they should be prosecuted as accomplices to sociocide.
