It's difficult to know exactly what this man had in his possession, but by all accounts it was evidence of wrongdoing by the US government:

If we allow this to be called "terrorism", there is something fundamentally wrong with the implementation of the concepts of "democracy" and "freedom of the press" in this century.
The thing that is most endangering to public safety is the conduct of the US, the UK, and most NATO nations. Whatever Greenwald's partner did is inconsequential in comparison.
Quite frankly, the national security state is a criminal enterprise which strives mightily to protect itself and its corporate partners from prosecution. From my perspective, it serves no useful purpose for anyone else.
