Apparently Brazil wants to rebuild its portion of the Internet to thwart NSA spying:

Two observations:
(1) Jeez, it's the DARPA Internet ... so what did you expect? Of course they were spying on everyone.
(2) There's a lesson still to be learned here, one that Americans (of the US variety) still haven't figured out. FREE TRADE means that bankgangsters and the undead (a.k.a. corporations) have the RIGHT to take whatever they will and make money from it. You and idiotic members of your Congress and so-called "regulators" are the people who invented and legalized stupid shit like this. Now it's your turn to be screwed, and you don't like it? SO SORRY !!!
