An Exhausted Culture, Founded on Psychological Manipulation

This is a fairly long essay by Arthur Silber, and its significance won't be obvious as you start reading it:

In spite of that, you should read it if you have time.

Combined with John Cobb's essay "Truth, 'Faith', and 9/11" (http://sainthoward.blogspot.com/2013/09/truth-faith-and-911.html), it should give you a good understanding why otherwise intelligent people have allowed themselves to be fooled by the government's 9/11 conspiracy theory. Our "nationalist faith" and our lifelong obedience training override our powers of observation and rational thinking.

And if you're interested, here's a link to more info about the Asch experiment mentioned in Silber's essay:

By the way, this phenomenon of conformity and obedience is chillingly similar to what happened to the German people as the Nazis led them down the road to destruction.

Obama ad-Dajjal imitates Hitler in all things. The longer he is President, the more America will imitate Nazi Germany in all things.
