The REAL Coup

Here is what I consider a farcical essay about the last "coup":

This is truly the most revealing part:

Military leaders can’t wait for elected officials to take adequate action to prepare for the next time. “Not a single leader who inspired” the last attempt has even been “held to account,” the generals noted.

The Pentagon must act now to reenforce “unity of command,” and order an immediate “civics review” for all members — uniformed and civilian — on the Constitution and electoral integrity, the generals urged.

And in a particularly dark scenario, the generals recommended that the Defense Department “war-game the next potential post-election insurrection or coup attempt to identify weak spots.”

These guys are NUTS !!! So Trump planned a coup? BULLSHIT !!!

Did US generals speak up when the deep state murdered JFK? NO !!!

Did they speak up when the deep state murdered RFK? NO !!!

Did they speak up when the deep state murdered MLK? NO !!!

Did they speak up when the deep state lied us into the Vietnam War? NO !!!

Did they speak up when the deep state lied us into Afghanistan? NO !!!

Did they speak up when the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff committed a treasonous act benefiting the leaders of China? NO !!!

Are they speaking up as the deep state uses more lies to push us ever closer to war with Russia and China? NO !!!

The REAL coup has been ongoing ever since passage of the National Security Act of 1947. The military, acting in concert with the US deep state, has been interfering in our electoral process in multiple ways for the past 75 years. They've used the powers of science and technology to spy on We the People, our Representatives and Senators, and most of the people entrusted with our health and safety. And they've used the powers usurped from We the People to undermine nearly every organ of government.

The only thing that surprises me about this announcement is that the three generals who made it include Antonio Taguba. You may recall that Taguba wrote a scathing report about what happened at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. The Army was so critical of his report that he later stated:

"I’d been in the Army thirty-two years by then, and it was the first time that I thought I was in the Mafia," he said. Though there have been a dozen government investigations and multiple reports by international human rights groups, responsibility for the grisly abuse at the military prison has yet to reach beyond the soldiers stationed at the prison. Despite reports like Taguba’s, which described the abuse as "systemic," true accountability up the chain of command has yet to occur.

Well general, if there ever is another US civil war some day and if members of our military participate in it, it will be largely because they are perfectly positioned to notice the corruption, lies, and distortions both in their ranks and in our military "leadership". Getting rid of dissenters is not the answer; eliminating the insubordination, treason and rot in the officer corps and intelligence agencies is.

And just when is THAT going to happen?

These insubordinate, politically motivated generals should be driven from the service and deprived of their retirement pay, which in any case they certainly did not earn.
