China Winning

Here are some sobering facts:

Today, as the Harvard Report acknowledges, authoritarian China now clearly tops the US in practical AI applications, including facial recognition, voice recognition, and fintech. It also notes that last year China produced 50% of the world’s computers and mobile phones; the US made only 6%. China now produces 70 solar panels for each one built in the US, sells four times the number of electric vehicles, and has nine times as many 5G base stations, with network speeds five times as fast as American equivalents.

We are in this position because US corporations and "our" Congress created the conditions which led to it.

Unless we ramp up production in the US, the energy conversion to solar and wind will be accomplished using solar cells and wind turbines made in China. We will lose to China no matter what.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think "Joe Biden" and Nancy Pelosi ACTUALLY sold us out to China. Perhaps they did.
