Here is a video which discusses how the operant conditioning theories of B. F. Skinner are enabling the powers that be (TPTB) to modify human behavior on a global scale:

And here is a related essay by Doug "Uncola" Lynn about the situation we now face:
I believe Lynn is correct when he makes the following claims:
Everyone, sooner or later, will choose their line in the sand, or, rather, what hill they wish to die upon. This is what I meant in my last "inevitability"article about "choosing one’s battles carefully and deliberately" as well as this question:
'For those who understand that battles cannot be won simply by playing defense, a question remains: What can be won?'
I’m talking about setting realistic priorities in the here and now.
It’s a New Year and a time for new beginnings. Hold on to the good and let go of the dross. But choose now. It is either us or them; and that is the real binary.
The next few days and weeks will provide many of the answers we have been seeking. And, at some point … whenever … wherever … everyone will either make a stand or they won’t.
Putting this in the context of Skinner's experiments, we humans still have a choice which Skinner did not allow his lab rats to have - in addition to merely accepting rewards and avoiding punishments, we have the ability to smash the box and escape from the heartless, soulless, and fundamentally inhuman future TPTB have planned for us.
I predict that if we do not smash their Skinner box and forever crush their ability to rule our lives, then humanity itself will cease to exist. As Lynn says, we either make a stand or we don't.
If we do, we're still human. If we don't, we're just "animals" fit for slaughter. That's really the fundamental point of Skinner's experiments.
