Wasn't that a wonderful inauguration yesterday? Congrats, President Joe.
I don't think I've seen that many flags in one place since the Nuremberg rallies of the 1930s in Nazi Germany:

And those pillars of light! Straight out of the Albert Speer playbook. Magnificent!
All that was missing were the blackshirts and brownshirts, some of whom yesterday were busy "peacefully" rioting in our urban centers. Oh, and Leni Riefenstahl, who no doubt would have been honored to film the 2021 version of Triumph des Willens (a.k.a. Triumph of the Virus).
Emboldened by today's versions of the Reichstag fire and Enabling Act (i.e., the January 6 "insurrection" and subsequent vote of the Electoral College), our Dear Leader was busy the next day signing the first of dozens of decrees. It didn't appear that he was reading anything he signed, but he did write most of them, right? On second thought, since he was wearing a mask I couldn't really tell who was wielding that pen. It could have been any addle-brained old man.
And while our Dear Leader (or his stunt double) was signing away our lives, his coterie of deranged ideologues was busy drawing up lists of people who are to be disappeared and sent to the camps for daring to disagree with the new regime's diktats or for refusing to accept its legitimacy. You can read about it here:
Some of Biden's supporters even suggest forming a new "secret police" organization to go after domestic terrorists. This definitely would have made Hermann Goering and Heinrich Himmler proud:

How many more policing and "intelligence" organizations do we need, for crying out loud?
Fascism has many faces, and it definitely is revealing one of its more ugly ones in the wake of Biden's victory. The worst part is that no one of consequence seems to have the balls to stand up and loudly shout that what we are witnessing is NOT the "triumph of democracy", but is instead the exact opposite.
Democracy, freedom, and liberty die when dissent is forbidden and dissenters are punished, when all newspapers publish only the party line, when political opponents are publicly pilloried (or worse), and when vast swaths of the public cheer on the spectacle.
Many of you probably think alles ist gemütlich and going according to plan, and you're definitely right about that. What we don't know is exactly what that plan is, but I'm certain we'll soon find out. A myriad of thousand+ page bills are about to be rubber stamped by "our" Congress, and when they're eventually read and put in force we'll find out what some of us "voted" for.
And many of us are not going to like it.
