Don't buy that for a minute. VZ failed and continues to fail because the extreme right (a.k.a. rich bankers and capitalists) CAUSED it to fail. How could a nation with the largest petroleum reserves in the world and a population of less than 35 million be broke, unless the rich have been screwing with it?
VZ is another victim of the economic hit men (and women) of the USA. They won't be the last.
