Shunning Social Media Is Not Enough

The days of having a fully (or even mostly) private life are long gone, it seems, and social media is largely to blame.

Even if you have deactivated all of your social media accounts – or never had any in the first place – your privacy is not guaranteed.

That’s because your privacy on social media is not controlled by you, but by the people around you, according to an alarming new study that, according to one report, "shows that privacy on social media is like second-hand smoke. It’s controlled by the people around you."

You can read all about it @

And with cameras and facial recognition showing up everywhere, there is no place left to hide:

You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I'm telling you why
Big Brother is comin' to town
He's making a list and checking it twice
Gonna find out who's naughty and nice
Big Brother is comin' to town
