Measles, Shmeasles

By now you probably have heard of the measles "epidemic" in Washington State. If not, you can read about it here:

I would like to draw your attention to this statement by the WA Department of Health:

"The only way to avoid getting measles is to be vaccinated against it."

Allow me to put this in context:

• According to the CDC, measles was more or less eradicated in the US prior to the last few years.
• Also according to the CDC, the resurgence of measles is due to importation of the virus from sources OUTSIDE the US.
• In other words, the root cause of the "epidemic" is unrestricted travel and failure to screen immigrants for diseases they may be carrying.

So in reality, "our" corporate-controlled government has created the conditions in which this "epidemic" is occurring. But they want to blame it on YOU and your failure to vaccinate your children.

When a disease is eradicated, there is no need for vaccination. Case in point - smallpox, which apparently WAS eradicated and against which no one is vaccinated any more. This also could have been the case with measles, but "our" government apparently thought it was cheaper to make US pay the price instead of implementing meaningful border controls and screening measures.

And by the way, what is the validity of the claim recently made that more children are killed by the vaccine than are killed by the measles virus?

With Kennedy was pediatric emergency room physician Dr. Toni Bark of Illinois who testified, "And while there has only been two deaths from measles in this country since 2003, there has been at least 400 and some odd children who’ve died from the vaccine."

Frankly it's difficult to find something you're not looking for, and I don't think many scientists are looking for a vaccine-autism connection. Apparently that's no big deal (if you believe the scientists), but how can we explain the fact that OUR children, who get far more vaccines than children anywhere else in the world, are less healthy than kids who DON'T get all these vaccines? Something's definitely not right, but all we get are statements that vaccines are perfectly safe.
