What's so bad about shutting down the government?

These things (in my view) will be bad:

• No Social Security
• No Medicare
• No Medicaid
• No food stamps
• No national parks

However, these things will be good:

• No killing of innocent people from drone strikes
• No bombing of sovereign nations, such as Syria
• No sending guns to drug cartels or dictators
• No loans to Israel which never get paid back
• No buying of tanks, guns, and ammo to shoot the American people
• No paychecks for the dummies who are "running" our government

In balance, we should use this episode to reinforce the necessity for our government to do things which HELP the America people and to STOP the things which don't help.

It is more likely however, the one or both of the following will happen instead:

• Obama ad-Dajjal will use this opportunity to further implement the Continuity of Operations Plan, including the possibility of rule by decree [see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continuity_of_Operations_Plan], and
• The advocates of replacing our nation state with a market state will finally get their way [see http://www.quadrant.org.au/magazine/issue/2009/9/the-rise-of-the-market-state].

So ... superficially this all will be blamed on the Tea Party (especially Senator Ted Cruz), but in reality it will allow the fulfillment of plans which have been in the works for a LONG time.

You don't actually think they were ever going to pay back that national debt, do you?
