The future of war in North Africa (and elsewhere)

For a glimpse of the future of war in North Africa, take a look at these two links:

The second one is in Italian, but Google Translate will give you a readable version.

Then go to the slide show embedded in the second link (it's called "ecco le slides che documentano passo dopo passo" in the Italian version of the article, but the slides are in English).

This should give you a feeling for what's happening in Italy and what AFRICOM ultimately is up to.

Along the way, go back and review my previous post about the buildup in Italy:

Several things should be obvious from all this, including:

  • This is not about defeating "terrorism". It's about protecting global corporations as they extract (i.e., steal) the wealth of Africa, and
  • This type of battlefield control can easily be switched to urban environments in the US and elsewhere. It probably already has.

At this point, recall these words of warning spoken by Senator Frank Church in 1975:

In the need to develop a capacity to know what potential enemies are doing, the United States government has perfected a technological capability that enables us to monitor the messages that go through the air. Now, that is necessary and important to the United States as we look abroad at enemies or potential enemies. We must know, at the same time, that capability at any time could be turned around on the American people, and no American would have any privacy left such is the capability to monitor everything — telephone conversations, telegrams, it doesn’t matter. There would be no place to hide.

If this government ever became a tyrant, if a dictator ever took charge in this country, the technological capacity that the intelligence community has given the government could enable it to impose total tyranny, and there would be no way to fight back because the most careful effort to combine together in resistance to the government, no matter how privately it was done, is within the reach of the government to know. Such is the capability of this technology.

I don’t want to see this country ever go across the bridge. I know the capacity that is there to make tyranny total in America, and we must see to it that this agency and all agencies that possess this technology operate within the law and under proper supervision so that we never cross over that abyss. That is the abyss from which there is no return.

Folks, we have crossed over that abyss, and the darkness is spreading all across the globe. Clearly, the American people and their Congress are not going to stop it. I have strong reservations whether ANYONE can stop it.

That is the abyss from which there is no return.

Get that through your head. We've already crossed that particular Rubicon, and there is no going back. With that knowledge, you should be able to see why "your" government is NOT going to "fix" the economy. There is no point. We produce nothing (except babies), and we have run out of money with which to consume. We are truly useless eaters, who from now on must be watched and controlled until a "final solution" of sorts can be devised.

If you think I'm on the wrong track here, show me your proof. I'd be HAPPY to take a look at it.
