Boeing's "Dreamliner" Nightmare

Do an Internet search for "Boeing Dreamliner problems", and the hits will include:

• battery problems
• panels falling off the fuselage
• brake problems
• hydraulic pump problems
• planes turning back mid-flight

The United States used to be a leader in manufacturing and technology. We are the only nation to have put men on the moon. Now we can't even build a reliable airplane.

Why do you think this happened? Regardless of the cause(s), industry and government are doing NOTHING to fix them ... unless you think outsourcing all our manufacturing is an acceptable solution.
