Who is committing treason against whom?

The US Constitution defines "treason" in the following way:

Article III, Section 3
1:  Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

I would argue the following:

  • Obama ad-Dajjal and his minions appear to be continually waging economic war against the States and giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the States (a prime example of which is the drug cartels which the feds support).
  • Edward Snowden did not levy war against the States, nor did he adhere to their enemies (a prime example of which is the criminal group known as the NSA which the feds support).

Since Obama ad-Dajjal and his minions appear to be enemies of the States, isn't anyone who adheres to THEM committing treason to the States?

To me it all boils down to this: the sovereign States never surrendered their sovereignty; it was taken from them by force. Shouldn't they reassert it, and start acting in their own best interests instead of continuing to act in the interest of their apparent enemies Obama ad-Dajjal and his minions?

If the States were all to secede together, then what Congress would be left to declare war against them?
