Tragic Kingdom

Police shoot a homeless man in Florida:

I especially lament the comment, "Yeah, I know the homeless guy might have a parent too, but they should of done a better job at raising their kid."

He "might have a parent"?

Homelessness in general does not result from parents not doing a good job raising their kids. It stems in large part from:
  • Greed of the one percent
  • Neoliberalism and globalization
  • The absolute incompetence of Obama ad-Dajjal
  • Wars that destroy the minds and bodies of our veterans, coupled with a VA that does nothing to help
  • A culture (ours) completely lacking in compassion for the incapable and the unfortunate

A culture of "to win and to have" has no compassion for the loser and the "have not". This is THE EXACT OPPOSITE of Christianity. I'll bet there is a church within walking distance of where this man was shot. I'll bet that well-fed, well-clothed people calling themselves "Christians" go to that church every Sunday to thank God that they are not like this homeless man. I'll bet they have forgotten the following scripture:

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Matthew 25:41-46 KJV
