Dear Lester - I doubt you or any other Western journalist really knows what it's like to live in NK.
We've all heard about what happened to Otto Warmbier, and yes it was horrible:

But how many people know about Dornella Conner, who lost an eye when St. Louis police shot her in the face?

Or how many of us care about those who were needlessly killed by US police?
NK may not be a great place, but it probably would be as prosperous as South Korea if the US had not messed with them in the first place.
