What is your take on this podcast entitled "first they came for the immigrants"?

It appears to be patterned after the famous quotation from Martin Niemöller which begins "first they came for the socialists".
There is a BIG difference between then and now. In Niemöller's Germany, people were rounded up strictly for political reasons, while the immigrants Trump is "coming for" have broken pre-existing laws and regulations.
And as we are told again and again, ignorance of the law is no excuse.
I'm not certain what the US is turning into, but it sure seems to be a wretched mess.
