Capitalize Workers ???

This op-ed in The New York Times recommends that workers receive the fruits of their labor:

While I happen to think this is a good idea, WOULDN'T THIS BE COMMUNISM ??? Didn't we fight the "Cold War" to prevent this very thing?

Actually, we fought the Cold War and the Vietnam War so that your jobs could be offshored to India, China, and Vietnam to make CEOs rich and to guarantee that "capitalists" would never have to give you a damn thing.
