Step by step, the Israelis are taking over control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem:

Ultimately, this will lead to construction of the Third Jewish Temple. Christians believe (at least some of them do) this also will lead to the Second Coming of Christ. Whatever the case, it's going to lead to more bloodshed.
