Why US Is So Desperate

US hegemony is dependent on the Bretton Woods system of monetary management and its relation to international use of the US dollar. That may be coming to an end:

[The GlobalEurope Anticipation Bulletin] team thus anticipates that, before anyone actually realizes it, an alternative BRICS monetary system will be operational from 2017. Not a common currency, but a lightweight system, multicurrency, mainly based on the Yuan, the Ruble, the other BRICS currencies and perhaps even the yen, all backed by gold and easily exchanged thanks to modern digital tools; a system also upgradable with the ability and ambition to host other currencies one day.

An additional detailed discussion of this initiative can be found here:

When the dollar is no longer the king of international currencies, you can say bye-bye to US global hegemony (at least in its current form).

By the way, it would not surprise me to learn that the US, the UK, and Israel created ISIS so it could be used as a universal bogeyman to thwart the world's move away from the American way of life. The very fact that Obama ad-Dajjal doesn't want American boots on the ground may be based upon the need to keep people from discovering who ISIS really works for. It's really hard to tell whom you are bombing when you never get to see them up close.

And it also would not surprise me to learn that it is the US who is behind the beheading of journalists who have learned too much about what is really going on in Syria.
