War Coming In Jerusalem

Due to a recent assassination, Israel has closed off the Temple Mount (a.k.a. the Noble Sanctuary):

The Israeli strategy is to slowly encircle Jerusalem with settlements while pushing out the Palestinians. Eventually it will be the actual capitol of Israel.

And sooner or later, the Israelis also will tear down the two mosques on the mount and build the third Jewish temple. You can read about one of the groups which promotes this here:

Such actions will precipitate war with the Muslim ummah, and most of what has been going on the Middle East has been preparation for that eventuality.

So in essence, the US taxpayer has been paying for a war in Jerusalem which will benefit no one other than the Israelis.

Except the Antichrist, who the Book of Revelation says will declare himself to be G-d in the rebuilt Jewish temple. At least that's what many Christians believe.

There will be a Kingdom of G-d on this earth. So far the Israelis have been the most proactive and successful of the three religions trying to bring this about. Some Muslims are striving to bring about their version of the kingdom, but as long as the combined resources of Israel and the US are fighting them, it's unlikely they will succeed. And Christians? They are so confused and so in conflict with G-d's commandments that they won't even see it coming until it's too late.

Update: If there ever were a disputed site which needed international supervision of its future, the Temple Mount (a.k.a. the Noble Sanctuary) is it. The "international community" was in an uproar when the Taliban destroyed the idols at Bamiyan (even though both the Bible and the Koran warn humanity about the dangers of idol worship). What is the "international community" going to do when the Israelis destroy the mosques of the Noble Sanctuary? Nothing ... even though it will lead to the slaughter of more Palestinians.

Does this situation exist because that's what G-d wants? If it does, we better start listening to what He wants us to do. If it does not, then the international community must bring Israel into compliance with international law and all UN resolutions. Now.
