Dolly Parton v. Pope Francis

Dolly Parton says that people who judge are committing a sin:

But as far as the Christians, if people want to pass judgment, they're already sinning. The sin of judging is just as bad as any other sin they might say somebody else is committing. I try to love everybody ... I think everybody should be allowed to be who they are, and to love who they love. I don't think we should be judgmental.

However, Pope Francis says that the sinner often must be told that he is sinning:

The corrupt does not perceive his corruption. It's a little like what happens with bad breath ... it's hard for those who have it to know, unless someone else tells them. For this reason, the corrupt can hardly get out of their internal state by way of remorse of conscience. Corruption is a greater evil than sin. More than forgiven, this evil must be cured.

Granted, Dolly and Francis were not talking about the same alleged sin, but they both address the subject of "being judgmental". If the corrupt should be told about their corruption and "cured", surely one must be "judgmental" to recognize the sin and communicate it as such to the sinner.

Who you gonna believe: Dolly or the Pope?
