US Constitution and debt

I think most commentators are confused about the impact of what the US Constitution says concerning our national debt. Here are two of the pertinent clauses:

US Constitution, Article I, Section 8
1: The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States ...

US Constitution, Fourteenth Amendment
4: The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned.

CONGRESS has the power to pay our debts, NOT the President.

The outcome of a Presidential election has NO bearing on what debts the CONGRESS shall decide to pay.

CONGRESS has the right and the authority to repeal ANY law, including ones which would increase the debt of the United States.

The wording of the Fourteenth Amendment truly has us between a rock and a hard place. It seems to say that "we can't default", which means that we HAVE to pay off the debt no matter how BIG it becomes. This is a wet dream situation for the economic hit men who have been targeting us for decades (if not longer). If we continue down the road we are on, a true disaster is in the making.

Why did this happen? Why did Congress allow bankgangsters and corporations to destroy our manufacturing economy and to replace it with an economic house of cards? We will NOT be "saved" from this crisis or any future crisis if we continue spending money we don't have and continue to print more fiat money to debase our currency.

Neither Obama ad-Dajjal nor Congress is addressing the real structural problems faced by the United States in a way that will benefit the American people. They are forcing us into a Gorbachev-inspired "perestroika" (restructuring) for the US. Take a hard look at what perestroika did to the USSR, and you may get an inkling of what it will do to the USA. Thank you, globalization !!!

If accept the current perestroika scheme, we ultimately will have to choose one of two alternatives:
  • default (which would be unconstitutional), or
  • economic slavery (which would be unconscionable).
If you have another idea, now would be the time for you to come forward.
